Project 2 - Ejido Hermosillo, Mexico

In August of 2007, Project Luz enlisted 8 talented photojournalists to teach photography basics to the youth of Ejido Hermosillo, Mexico - A rural town along the Mexico/U.S. border with a population of 6300.

Over the course of 2 weeks, Kristina Barker, Brian Frank, Darcy Holdorf, Justin Maxon, Justin Mott, Brandon Thibodeaux, Benjamin Thomas, and Nathan Weyland mentored and worked with a group aged 9-15. Often rising at dawn, the children were dedicated and excelled beyond our expectations. The results were outstanding and were recently exhibited in San Francisco to raise funds towards future projects.

Project 2 was a beautiful success...

hi looks like a great workshop project, it would be great if you upload work of the children, and a little more about the experience/contents of the workshops!
